Trial and error
… Just for the nice picture I post my experiment to make a caponata. I found a receipe and I thought it might be delicious and especially it could be delightful with grilled meat or fish. (As it is supposed to be spring outside, but here it is not.) At the end of the day the caponata wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. A lot of slicing, cutting, frying and mixing for something rather irrelevant … I imagined the combination of the different textures would be a real hit, but everything tasted almost the same – the squish and the fried vegetables… Definitely I have to find an other, better receipe and then I will share it with you. I promise.
